We've recently become "sober curious" and are loving how many new na options there are. I recently read about a new zero proof bottle shop that opened in Phinny (https://cheekyanddry.com/).

This weekend we're seeing Comedy of Errors at Seattle Shakes. It's my husband's favorite Shakespeare and he's super excited about the description of this production. https://www.seattleshakespeare.org/ssc-production/comedy-of-errors-2024/

Next Friday, Book of Will opens at Taproot Theatre (I'm stage manager!). It's a beautiful love story to friends and theatre, about how Shakespeare's friends helped save his work and create the first folio. (I have comps! Let me know if you'd like a couple.) https://taproottheatre.org/shows/2024/the-book-of-will/

I'm so excited to see Swan Lake next month! It's a favorite ballet for sure (I was lucky enough to get to perform Act II in college and be a baby swan; definitely a dream come true!).

Cheeky & Dry is on my list of things to check out! Such a cool concept.

Let me know how Comedy of Errors is, I'm super curious! I'll add it to the list of events for this week.

Book of Will sounds really interesting, I'd love to come see it! I'll send you an email about the details :)

I'm also very excited about Swan Lake, it's the one I was obsessed with as a kid but have never seen performed live (very jealous of your role as baby swan btw!)

Comedy of Errors was so good! I laughed the whole time. The acting is FANTASTIC, the costumes are beautiful, the sound design is cheeky, and the lighting designer did a great job highlighting the scenic elements with LED tape in a way that really helped transport the locations. There was an understudy on the night we went (one understudy for the whole show, which mean he's memorized the entire script! 🤯) and he was incredible!

We got to see PNB do Swan Lake in 2018 and I'm so excited to see it again! When I was in high school I got to see the Bolshoi perform it when they toured through Seattle; it's truly always been a favorite of mine.

Wow - that is so impressive! I love hearing the little details from the perspective of someone in the biz, it helps me know what to look for and pay attention to at future shows.

Seeing the Bolshoi perform would be incredible! I can't wait to see Swan Lake this weekend :)
